Susan joined MGI Bass Gordon in 2003 after completing her articles and a year of post articles at BDO Pretoria and was admitted as a partner in March 2010.

She completed her Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and Certificate in Theory of Accounting in 2004. She then qualified as a Chartered Accountant (SA) in 2008.

Susan is responsible for the running of audits and assisting with various services in the firm, including the audit of Duty Credit Certificates as required by ITAC. She oversees the Caseware programme used in office, and assists clients with Pastel queries where needed. She is a member of the firm’s technical committee and is involved in the firm’s training.

Susan is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and is a member of the Small Practices Discussion Group, with Ilse le Roux; which meets to discuss issues in the small practice.
