Philip obtained his Bachelor of Business Science (Finance Honours) degree from UCT in 2004. He then completed his Honours degree in Accounting at Unisa in 2005. In 2007 Philip completed his M.Com degree in taxation.

After completing his articles in March 2008 Philip registered as a Chartered Accountant (SA) with South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and as a Master Tax Practitioner (SA) with the South African Institute of Tax Practitioners.

He is responsible for the management and supervision of a portfolio of audit engagements. He is also a member of the firm’s technical committee.
