I was born in Paarl, schooled in Cape Town, and completed the Board exam in 1964 after studying at the University of Cape Town.

I joined Gross Hendler & Frank in 1967 as a Partner after completing my military service, and married Toni the same year.  After three children, who arrived in quick succession, hard work and dedication became my blueprint.  I have always enjoyed both watching and taking part in sport and after completing more than 20 marathons and a Comrades, hung up my shoes and now enjoy social golf.

I have formed very strong bonds with all my clients and have always been on hand to give advice to their families, planning for the future in their best interests.

My children have followed suit in the accounting profession and I boast four CAs in the family – in Chicago, Vancouver and Cape Town.  I have six grandchildren.
