Lester joined Bass Gordon Willis Financial Services in 2005 as Director, with specific responsibility for managing and expanding BGW’s Money Market, as well as for developing an Investment Fund management services for clients.

The depth of experience that he brings to the practice includes:

- Investment Manager of The Shield, a Cape-based Insurance and Finance Group
- The founder and Managing Director of The Incentive Consulting Group
- Co-owner of Banks Hiring Supply and Banks R + L Hiring.

While Lester is a member of the SA Institute of Chartered Accountants, he also has an MBA from the University of Cape Town and is a Graduate of The Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.

Over the years, Lester has held office in numerous Community organisations including those as Chairman of The Board of Governors of the United Herzlia Schools, Chairman of The SA Board of Deputies (Cape Council) and National Vice-Chairman of the SA Jewish Board of Deputies, as well as an executive member of The Inter-Religious Commission against Crime and Violence in the Western Cape which is chaired by the Archbishop of the Anglican Church. He is also a past Treasurer of The Rotary Club of Cape Town.
