Howard Silke joined Gross Hendler & Frank in 1979 as an articled clerk.  He obtained a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Cape Town in 1978.  He became a partner in 1984 and provides a wide range of services to his clients including accounting, tax, management consulting and auditing. Howard is a member of South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and is registered at the Independent Regulatory Board of Auditors.  He is actively involved in sport particularly Badminton.  He was a treasurer of the Western Province Badminton Association for 20 years and recently retired.  He was also a member of the South African Maccabi Badminton side in 1981.  In his spare time, he now concentrates purely on running, particularly marathons, having run the  Comrades Marathon twice and the Two Oceans 25 times.
